One reason we (the Gleneagle Connection Newsletter staff) started the blog was to reach Gleneagle residents and members with current information that is relevant to living here in Gleneagle and in Arlington. Currently there are about fifty people subscribed to the blog that are getting the posts.
At the same time, the Newsletter staff has decided to send out an e-mailed newsletter to come between the months the physical newsletter is published to fill in the gaps. Since the Newsletter is only published in January, April, July and October, there may be times that we miss important information or events happen where the residents would wish to be informed.
In an effort to maximize the reach of our efforts, we are opting to add items that would have been featured on the blog to the newsletter and discontinue new blog posts for the time being. Fortunately, all of you who subscribe to the blog are already on the e-mail distribution list, so you don't need to do anything to remain in the loop.
