What is a blog?
A blog is just a website with a main page that features posts in the order they were posted. Posts can contain anything from news to pictures to event updates. A blog is different from a news website because you can subscribe to be notified of updates. That's what you are doing when you enter your e-mail address on the main page, telling the site you want it to e-mail you whenever there's something new.
What can I do on this blog?
- You can subscribe to be notified when there is new content.
- You can read old news by scrolling down the main page, or using the keywords or search box in the right hand column. To use the keywords, just click on any word in the "cloud" of words and you will be taken to all posts that are tagged with that word. Want to read all posts about things happening at the clubhouse, click "clubhouse" and all posts will appear.
- You can join or start a conversation on any of the pages or any of the posts by clicking on "x comments" at the bottom of a post. ("x" is representing the number of comments already posted) Be aware, the comments are not be used for "soapbox-ing" but for comments, questions and concerns related to the post or page you comment at. Comments will be reviewed before publishing and will be edited if they are found to be offensive, rude, or otherwise irrelevant. When you post a comment, select "Anonymous" if you don't have one of the other accounts listed and this will allow you to post without hassle.
- You can suggest new content to the editors by sending an e-mail to one of the addresses listed on the Contact page. We want to know if there is a relevant event or news item that the community needs to know about.
If you have more questions or need more help, please e-mail and let us know. This site is for the community to use and we want to make sure the community is equipped to use it.
